Welcome to The Fourteenth Goldfish blog! Here, you will get to get and give ideas about how you are exploring this book during the 2017 SCDSB Read Aloud!
Our Science questions are: "I wonder how we could cure Cancer?" "How do you get curly hair?" "How do Scientists make explosions?" "How can we get longer, or shorter and nicer hair?" "How do you make trampolines, bicycles, tricycles and motorcycles?" "How do you make videogames?"
We wonder: We are curious about what this book is actually about. How many fish does Ellie have? How do you make yourself younger or older than you are?
Hopefully The 14th Goldfish helps us discover the answers to our wondering thoughts and Science questions!
Mrs. Greer's Learning Centre Crew, Thank you very much for posting these great questions and wonders on "The Fourteenth Goldfish" blog. The grade 4/5 students at my school are reading this book too. I am going to share your comments with them tomorrow. Enjoy the book :)
Mr. Wells' class is really enjoying reading the 14th Goldfish. We like how Grandpa found a way to reverse his age - it reminds us of the movie called 17 Again. We also like reading about all the real scientists and what they did like Jonas Salk and Louis Pasteur.
